[some Paru'ah] (Heb. Paru'ach, פָּרוּחִ, blessing [Gesen.], or increase [Furst]; Sept. Φαῤῥού, v.r. Φρυασούθ and Φαρουέ), the father of Jehoshaphat, which latter was Solomon's purveyor in Issachar (1Ki 4:17). B.C. cir. 1012.
