Parswanatha

Parswanatha is the name of the twenty-third of the deified saints of the Jainas in the present aera. Parswanatha and Mahavira, the twenty-fourth, are greatly revered, especially in Hindostan. In a suburb of Benares, called Belupura, there is a temple honored as the, birthplace of Parswanatha. See JAINAS.
