Parrocel, Etienne

Parrocel, Etienne a French painter, was born in Paris about 1720. He painted historical subjects, but. attained little reputation. He executed several scripthral works, among which was Christ on the Mount of Olives. There are several etchings by him, in a bold, free style, among which is The Triumph of Mordecai (after De Froy).
