Opitz, Paul Friedrich
Opitz, Paul Friedrich a German scholar, son of Heinrich, was born at Kiel, March 26, 1684. He studied at different universities, was in 1721 professor of Greek and Oriental languages at his native city, in 1727 professor of philosophy, and died Oct. 5,1747.
