Nareda (or Narada)
Nareda (or Narada)
is the name of a Hindu divinity, a son of Brahma and Suraswati. He was regarded as the messenger of the gods and the inventor of the vina, or Hitnd lute. He is described not only as a wise legislator, but also as an astronomer, a musician, and a distinguished warrior.
