Mutunus

Mutunus a deity among the ancient Romans who averted evil from the city and commonwealth of Rome. He was identical with the Phallus or Priapus, who chiefly delivered from the power of daemons. Mutunus had a temple inside the walls of Rome, which existed until the time of Augustus, when it was removed outside.
