Morabites

Morabites a Mohammedan sect found chiefly in Africa. They were founded about the 8th century by Mohaidin, the last son of Hossein, who was the grandson of Mohammed. They live in sequestered places, like monks, either separately or in small communities; are very licentious in their habits, and follow many practices utterly opposed to the Koran.
