Mizzah
Miz'zah (Heb. Mizzah', מַזָּה, despair; Sept. Μοζέ, in Chronicles Μοχέ), the last named of the four sons of Reuel, the son of Esau by Bashemath (Ge 36:13; 1Ch 1:37), and a petty chieftain of the Edomites (Ge 36:17). B.C. considerably post 1927. The settlements of his descendants are believed by Mr. Forster (Hist. Geog. of Arab. 2:55) to be indicated in the μεσανίτης κόλπος, or Phrat-Misan, at the head of the Persian Gulf.
