(Heb. Mithkah', מַתקָה, sweetness, prob. of the water found there; Sept. Μαθεκκά), the twentyninth station of the Israelites in the desert, between Tarah and Hashmonah (Nu 33:28-29); perhaps at the intersection of Waly el-Ghamr with Wady el-Jerafeh. SEE EXODE.
