Mastricht, Peter Von
Mastricht, Peter Von a Dutch theologian, was born in 1630. He studied at Duisburg and Utrecht, was for some time professor of Hebrew and of theology at Frankfort, and in 1669 professor at Duisburg. In 1677 he was called to Utrecht, and died February 10, 1706. He wrote, Theologia Theoretico-Practica (2 volumes): — Exercitationes Analyticae et Exegeticae ad Esa. 53: — Syntagma de Fide Salvifica: — Vindiciae Veritatis et Autoritatis Sacrae Scripturae in Rebus Philosophicts contra Wittichium: — Acadenzice Ultrajectince Votum Symbolicum.
