Manas'site (מנִשּׂי, Menassi', patronymic from MANASSEH, used collectively; Sept. Μανασσή), Auth. Vers. "Manassites," "of Manasseh"), a descendant of Manasseh, or a member of that tribe (De 4:43; De 29:8; 2Ki 10:33; 1Ch 26:32).
