Mahli
Mah'li (Heb. Machli', מִחלַי, sick; Sept. Μοολί, Vulg. Moholi; but in Ex 6:19, Μοολεί, Auth. Vers. "Mahali;" SEE MAHLITE ), the name of two Levites.
1. A son of Merari, and grandson of Levi (Ex 6:19; Nu 3:20; 1Ch 6:19; 1Ch 23:21; 1Ch 24:26,28; Ezr 8:18). Among his sons was one named Libni (1Ch 6:29). His descendants were named after him (Nu 3:33; Nu 26:58). B.C. post 1856.
2. A son of Mushi, and nephew of the preceding (1Ch 23:23; 1Ch 24:30). He had a son named Shamer (1Ch 6:47). B.C. ante 1658.
