Lejuive

Lejuive PAUL, a French Jesuit missionary, was born in 1592, entered the Jesuitical order, and labored in Canada for seventeen years. He returned to France in 1632, and died Aug. 7, 1664. He published a descriptive work on Canada and its native tribes (7 vols., 1640). Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Gen. 30:518.
