Leighton, Henry De
Leighton, Henry De a Scotch prelate, was consecrated bishop of Moray, March 8, 1414, where he continued ten years. In 1424 he was translated to the see of Aberdeen. He was one of the commissioners sent to London for negotiating the ransom of king James I, and returned home with him. He died in 1441. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, pages 113-142.
