Lauder, George

Lauder, George a Scotch prelate, was vicar of Crail in 1425, and was afterwards master, or preceptor, of the Hospital of St. Leonard's. He was promoted to the bishopric of Argyle as early as 1427, and was still bishop in 1462. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, page 287.
