Kumaon Version Of The Scriptures The Kumaon dialect is closely allied to the Hinduwee, and is spoken in the province of Kumaon, subject to Great Britain. A version of the New Test. was commenced at Serampore in 1815, and was completed at press about the year 1826. It has never been reprinted since. See Bible of Every Land, page 123. (B.P.)
