Klein, Anton

Klein, Anton a Roman Catholic theologian, was born in 1788. In 1811 he received holy orders. He was for some time professor of Church history at Graitz and Vienna, and died at the latter place, April 9, 1867. He is the author of, Historia Ecclesice Christiance (Gratz, 1827, 2 volumes): — Geschichte des Christenthums in Oesterreich und Steiermark (Vienna, 1840-42,7 volumes). (B.P.)
