Klebitz (Klebitus), Wilhelm

Klebitz (Klebitus), Wilhelm a German theologian of the Reformation period, and favorably inclined to the reformatory movement, flourished at Frevburg about 1560. Nothing further is known of his personal history. He wrote De buccella intincta, quam comedit Judas, Matthew 26: contained in the Crit. Sac. vol. vi; and, in the bitter controversy which he waged with Heshusius (q.v.), Victoriam veraitatis ac ruinam Paltatus Saxonici contra Themannum Heshusium de S. Synaxi.
