Jesim'iel (Heb. Yesimiel', ישַׂימַיאֵל, appointed of God; Sept. Ι᾿σμαήλ), apparently one of the chief Simeonites who migrated to the valley of Gedor in search of pasture (1Ch 4:36). B.C. cir. 711.
