Jeshimon

Jesh'imon is the rendering in the Auth. Version (Nu 21:20; Nu 23:28; 1Sa 23:1,9,24; 1Sa 26:1,3) of ישַׁימוֹן (yeshinon'), which simply denotes a wilderness, as in the margin (so the Sept.), and elsewhere in the text (De 22:10; Ps 68:7; "desert;" Ps 78:40; Ps 107:14; Isa 43:16,20, "solitary" way, Ps 107:4).
