Jam'rnia (Ι᾿αμνία v. r. Ι᾿αμνεία), a Grecized or later form of the name of the city JABNEEL SEE JABNEEL (q.v.), used in the Apocrypha (1 Macc. 4:15; 5, 58; 10:69; 15:40), and Josephus (Ant. 5, 1, 22; 14:4, 4; War, 1, 7, 7).
