Jacobus Sarugensis
Jacobus Sarugensis made bishop of Botnae, a little town in the district of Sarug, in Osstroinae, at the age of sixty-seven, A.D. 519, and who died two years afterwards, is the author of very many ecclesiastical works, both in prose and poetry, chiefly of a ritualistic or epistolary character, for which see Smith, Dict. of Christ.
