Irwing, Karl Friedrich Von a Protestant theologian of Germany, who was born at Berlin, November 21, 1728, and died there, December 17, 1801, member of consistory, is the author of Versuch uber den Ursprung der Erkenntniss der Wahrheit und der Wissenschaft (Berlin, 1781).
