Inglis, Alexander a Scotch prelate, dean of Dunkeld, archdeacon of St. Andrews, and keeper of the rolls, was. chosen bishop of Dunkeld in 1483. But the pope, being displeased because he had not been consulted first, annulled the election. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, page 91.
