Imla

Im'la (Heb. Yinla', יִמלָא, replenisher; Sept. Ιεμλά), the father of Micaiah, which latter was the prophet who ironically foretold the defeat of the allied kings of 'Judah and Israel against Ramoth-Gilead (2Ch 18:8-9). In the parallel passage (1Ki 22:8-9) his name is written IMLAH (Heb. Yimlah',יִמלָה, id.; Sept. Ιαμβλά). B.C. ante 896.
