I'lai (Heb. Ilay', עַילִי, i. q. Chald. עַלִּי, supreme; Sept. ᾿Ηλί), an Ahohite, and one of David's chief heroes (1Ch 11:29); called ZALBION in the parallel list (2Sa 23:28). B.C. 1046.
