Hyenae
Hyenae a name applied by Porphyry to the priestesses of Mithras, or the sun. Hydriaphoria (from ὕδωρ, water, and φέρω, to bear), a ceremony in which the married alien women carried a vessel with water for the married women of Athens as they walked to the temple of Athena in the great procession of the Panathenaia.
