Hooker, Herman, D.D.
an Episcopal clergyman; was born at Poultney, Vermont, about 1806. He graduated from Middlebury College in 1825, studied two years in Princeton Theological Seminary, and subsequently took orders in the Protestant Episcopal Church; but on losing his health became a bookseller in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he died, July 25, 1865.
