Hommel, Johann Christoph
Hommel, Johann Christoph a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born September 13, 1685, at Weissenfels. He studied at Leipsic, was in 1712 bachelor of theology, in 1729 superintendent at Neustadt, and died October 17, 1746, member of consistory, first court-preacher, and general superintendent of the duchy of Hildburghausen.
