Homiliare

Homiliare or Homiliarius is a term applied to a collection containing such homilies of the early fathers of the Church as were read on Sunday, on the festal days of the saints, on Easter, and Pentecost. See Durandi, Rationale, bk. 6:ch. 1; Fuhrmann, Handwörterbuch der Kirchengeschichte, 2, 337.
