Holtzfus, Barthold
Holtzfus, Barthold a Reformed theologian of Germany, was born at Riigenwalde, Pomerania, December 11, 1659. In 1685 he was professor of philosophy at Frankfort, in 1686 court-preacher at Stolpe, in 1696 professor, and in 1698 doctor of theology at Frankfort, and died in 1717, He wrote De Praedestinatione, Electione et Reprobatione, and a great many theological treatises, which were published in one volume in 1714.
