Hoglah

Hog'lah (Heb. Choglah', חָגלָה, from Arab. for partridge; Sept. Ε᾿γλά v.r. Αἰγλά, etc.), the third of the five daughters of Zelophehad the Gileadite, to whom, in the absence of male heirs, portions were assigned by Moses (Nu 26:33; Nu 27:1; Nu 36:11; Jos 17:3). B.C. 1619. SEE BETH- HOGLAH.
