Hoffmann, Gottfried

Hoffmann, Gottfried born at Plagwitz, in Silesia, in 1678, studied at Leipzig, and was rector of the gymnasia at Lauban and Zittau. He died in 1712. His name is mentioned here on account of his contributions to hymnology, as
