Henry, Robert (2), D.D., LL.D.
an Episcopal clergyman, was born at Charleston, S.C., December 6, 1792. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1814, was president of the College of South Carolina in 1834 and 1835, and filled in succession in that institution the chairs of logic and moral philosophy, of metaphysics and belles-lettres, and of the Greek language and literature.
