Hatach

Ha'tach (Heb. Hathak', הֲתָך, perhaps from Persic, verity; Sept. Α᾿ρχαθἃ῝ ιος,Vulg. Athach), one of the eunuchs in the palace of Xerxes, appointed to wait on Esther, whom she employed in her communications with Mordecai (Es 4:5-6,9-10). B.C. 474.
