Ha'shem (Heb. Hashem', הָשֵׁם, perh. i.q. חָשֵׁם, fat; Sept. Α᾿σάμ,Vulg. Aasem), a native of Gizoh, and ancestor of two of David's heroes (1Ch 11:34; the JASHEN SEE JASHEN (q.v.) of 2Sa 23:32). B.C. ante 1014.
