Hareph
Ha'reph (Heb. Chareph', חָרֵŠ, plucking off; Sept. Α᾿ρεί v. r. Α᾿ρίμ), the "father"of Beth-Gader, and "son"of Caleb of Judah by one of his legitimate wives (1Ch 2:51). B.C. cir. 1612. The patronymic Haruphite"(q.v.) seems to connect this with HARIPH.
