Griesinger, Johann Burchard
Griesinger, Johann Burchard a Lutheran preacher of Germany, was born December 17, 1638, at Worms. Being blind from his third year, he did not begin his studies until the age of nineteen. He went to the universities of Strasburg and Jena, and settled in 1686 at Konigsberg, where he became famous as a preacher.
