Grebo Version Of The Scriptures The Grebo language is predominant in the immediate vicinity of cape Palmas, and is supposed to extend considerably into the interior. At present the Grebos enjoy the benefit of having in their own vernacular the gospels of Matthew and Luke, the Acts of the Apostles, Paul's epistle to the Romans, his first epistle to the Corinthians, and the book of Genesis. The publication of these parts of the Scriptures is due to the American Bible Society. (B.P.)
