Grandin, Martin

Grandin, Martin a French theologian, was born at St. Quentin in 1604. He commenced his studies at Noyon, continued them at Amiens, and finished them at Paris, in the college of the cardinal Le Moine, where he afterwards taught philosophy. He was doctor of the Sorbonne, and taught theology there more than fifty years. He died at Paris in 1691, leaving a work of value entitled, Institutiones Theologicae (Paris, 1710). See Hoefer, Nouv.
