Giustiniani (of Chios), Leonardo

Giustiniani (of Chios), Leonardo an Italian prelate of Genoese origin, lived in 1453. He was archbishop of Mitylene when that island was taken bv the Turks. He left a letter upon the subject of the taking of Constantinople, addressed to pope Nicholas V, and some other works, for which see Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
