Gibeathite

Gib'eathite (Heb. with the article hag-Gibathi', . הִגִּב תִי; Sept. ὸ Γαβαθίτης v.r. Γαβαδίτης, Γεβωθείτης, the designation of a native of Gibeah (1Ch 12:3); in this case, Shemaah, or "the Shemaah," father of two Benjamites, "Saul's brethren," who joined David. SEE GIBEAH 1.
