Gaz'athite
[usually Ga'zathite] (Heb. with the art. ha-Azzathi', הָעִזָּתַי; Sept. ὁ Γαζαῖος, A.V. "the Gazathites"), a designation (Jos 13:3) of the inhabitants of the city of GAZA SEE GAZA (q.v.), elsewhere rendered Gazstes (Jg 16:2).
