Gartland, Francis Xavier
Gartland, Francis Xavier a Roman Catholic bishop, was born in Dublin in 1805; ordained in Philadelphia in 1832; consecrated bishop of Savannah, Georgia, November 10, 1850, and died of yellow fever in that city, September 20, 1853.
