Fraser, James

Fraser, James D.D. a minister of the Church of Scotland, born about 1700, and died 1769, was the author of The Scripture Doctrine of Sanctification

(Edinburgh, 1774, 12mo), of which several, editions have appeared, the last an abridgment (Lonedon, Tract Society, 1849, 18mo). This work was edited by Dr. Erskine, and is highly praised by Orme (Bibl. Bib.). See Fasti Eccles. Scotic. 2:585.
