Francke, Johann a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born in 1650. He studied at Leipsic, had several pastorates in Poinerania, and died.April 17,1723. He published, Lux Tenebrosa, etc.: — Tenebrae Lucide, etc.: — Commentarius in Psalmos: — Prophetia Amosi, Nahumi, Habacuci, Sophoniae, Obadiae, Haggai, Malachiae: — Ministerium Accentum Hebraeorum.
