Fischer, Johann Friedrich

Fischer, Johann Friedrich a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Coburg, October 10, 1724, became rector of the Thomas school at Leipsic, and died there, October 17, 1799. He published, Commentantio de Statu et Jurisdictione Judaeorum Secundum Leges Rom. Germ. (Strasburg, 1763): — Prolusiones de Verss. Graec. Ve. Test.
