Fairfowl (or Fairfull), Andrew

Fairfowl (or Fairfull), Andrew a Scotch prelate, was born at Dunfermline, December 14, 1606; graduated from the University of St. Andrews in 1623; early became chaplain to the earl of Rothes; minister at Leslie in 1632; afterwards at North Leith, and at Dunse in 1636. He was preferred to the see of Glasgow, November 14, 1661, by king Charles II, and was consecrated in June 1662. He died at Edinburgh, November 2, 1663.
