Eutuchites
Eutuchites (from εὐ, good, and τίχη, fortune), a heretical sect mentioned by Theodoret as belonging to the 3d century. They held that our souls were placed in our bodies only to honor the angels who created them, that we ought to be afflicted at nothing, and to be equally pleased with vice and virtue. They also taught that Christ was the son of an unknown god.
