Ethio'pian (Αἰθίοψ, Ac 8:27; כּוּשׁי, Kushi', Nu 12:1; 2Ch 12:3; 2Ch 14:9,12-13; 2Ch 16:8; 2Ch 21:16; Jer 13:23; Jer 38:7,10,12; Jer 39:16; Da 11:43; Am 9:7; Zep 2:12; i.e., Cushite; elsewhere as a rendering of the simple כּוּשׁ, Kush), an inhabitant of the land of ETHIOPIA SEE ETHIOPIA (q.v.) or CUSH SEE CUSH properly "Cushite" (Jer 13:23); used of Zerah (2Ch 14:9 [8]) and Ebedmelech (Jer 38:7,10,12; Jer 39:16).
